Went back to the Cluny museum, armed with ASA 1600 film this time, and we each saw a few things that had slipped our notice the previous time. After a late lunch, we took another look at the west portal of Notre Dame, got some more fabulous Berthillon ice cream, ate it on a bench on the bank of the Seine, & returned to the hotel, picking up a bottle of fizzy cidre and a roast chicken for dinner in the room. Since then, we've been listening to the bagpipers at the Scottish pub across the street outside our window.
