I found myself chairman of a board that was running a charity fundraiser horse race. This sounded like a fairly low-stress job, until I realized that the board needed to decide whether to accept the application of one Donald J. Trump for his horse to run in the race. (I don't remember who was supposed to ride it; presumably an NPC.) His application had been received after the posted deadline, which looked like a clear basis for denying the application, but on the other hand, his application had been received late and accepted each of the previous six years, before I took the job.
