A dream with a strong "Galaxy Quest" feel.
In one scene, there was a tall cliff with a notch in the edge, say 20' wide, 100' vertical, and 80' into the cliff, and I somehow fell into it, landing near the edge but in no imminent danger of falling off, so I figured my crewmates up at the top could lower something to pull me up. And then one side of the notch opened up like a door and some kind of implausible monster started to emerge, and I thought I'd better take my chances on the nearly-vertical cliff face, which provided plenty of footholds and handholds, being covered with a lumps a few feet across, each of which had a hole in it. A suspiciously regular pattern of lumps, in fact, looking sorta like scales or skin cells or something.
In another scene, a landing module landed in a sandy desert and we emerged to see a cluster of stacks of rocks, looking vaguely like Stonehenge arches but more humanoid, with a "head" piece at the top. And as we watched, one of them fell forward, crashing into the sand on its "face". Then another. Then another. Then the first one stood up again somehow, a few feet away from where it had been before. The camera panned out and the viewer could see lots of humanoid rock stacks falling forward and standing up again, as well as big vaguely-spherical boulders rolling in slow fits and starts for no apparent reason, all over the valley.
