For some reason I was present at the destruction of the dwarves' temple. I'm not sure whether I was to blame, but I certainly saw it collapse, and looking at the pile of brick and stone rubble, I felt some obligation to help rebuild it. So, I enlisted the aid of a couple of dwarves and we rebuilt a section about the size of a mobile home, incidentally clearing the entrance to a basement, where we found more building materials in good condition, which enabled us to rebuild more of it. The remaining dwarves came back, held their religious ceremony, and everybody had a great time.

In other news, I set out some mousetraps (the old-fashioned snap variety) in the kitchen last night and, as of this morning, caught a mouse.
