Good news, bad news

Well, the good news is that we don't have to worry about the 100-year-old maple on the corner falling on our house. The bad news is that it fell the other way, blocking both streets at the aforementioned corner. And, of course, that we've lost another 100-year-old tree -- this makes at least four within a block of our house in the past five years.

you still have power coned service maps show outages with wires down right by you. Guess that's the house across the street then?
Wires down on the next block from us too, but not our street. My front walk is littered with roofing shingles, but they aren't ours and I can't see problems on any of the neighboring houses. Piece of soffet siding is loose on our house but no worse.
