My nose twitches in sympathy. Part of the Great Dismal Swamp caught fire one year and it burned for months. The city I live in is built on land reclaimed from that swamp so the fire was very, very close. Peat bog fire - the smoke was stifling. I have never forgotten the sting of it.
Yeah, that's just wrong. Almost as bad as the Orange Sky Day we had out here in 2020, and something I would never expect from a maritime location like yours. I hope y'all have good masks.
