Foodie... or just Lazie?

I was at Trader Joe's yesterday and saw a prominent display of bottles of "Simple Syrup". I thought "They can't mean what I mean by 'simple syrup'," so I picked up a bottle and looked closer. They did. There are two ingredients: water, and "dehydrated organic cane juice," aka sugar. They'll charge you $2.95 for a 12-ounce bottle of sugar water. I guess if you don't have both water and sugar on hand in your kitchen....
